2 Tbsp Olive Oil
3 Tbsp Tequila
1 Large Orange (squeezed then grate 1 Tsp of the zest)
3 Limes (juiced)
3 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
2 Tsp Chili Powder
2 Tsp Ground Cumin
1 Tsp Dried Oregano
Salt & Pepper
2 Lbs Sirloin Steak Tips
Juice your orange and grate some of the zest into a small bowl.
Once you have done that, measure out your spices then smash your garlic.
Once all of that is done, combine everything into the same bowl that the orange juice and zest are in. Whisk well.
Place your steak tips in a cassarole dish with a lid and pour marinade over the meat to coat.
Once you coat your meat, cover and refridgerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
There isnt a whole lot to this and it is perfect because you can do this when you have 5 minutes to spair! Once your ready to start dinner, just remove the steak and discard the excess marinade. Perfect for broiling, grilling, or pan frying… personally I am going to broil it tonight with Broccoli Rabe and Cole Slaw so I will keep you posted as to how I do my sides and how the steak tips come out!
