Broccoli Rabe

So I am personally not a big fan of Broccoli Rabe but for whatever reason i decieded to grab a bunch of it while at Big Y…

If you are a Broccoli Rabe fan than you will love this recipe, but if you dont like bitter veggies than I sugguest you subsitute it with either broccoli, asparagus, or green beans.

(Just being honest…)

Ingredients

1 Bunch Broccoli Rabe (you can also use green beans, asparagus, or broccoli)

2 Tbsp olive Oil

2 Large Cloves Garlic (smashed & minced)

Salt & Pepper

Parmesan Cheese

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and stir in your broccoli rabe. (or whatever else you choose to use inplace of this)

In the mean time, take your garlic and smash the cloves before you mince them.

Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat with the olive oil and add your minced garlic.

Heat garlic until fragrant or for 1 minute. (I over did mine a little bit because I got all into taking pictures…. Its all your fault! But is ok, really, it still worked out just fine!) Add your Broccoli Rabe (or whatever you chose) into the skillet.

Saute for about 5 minutes or until desired tenderness and remove from heat.

Transfer Broccoli Rabi to a platter and dust with grated parmesan cheese.

Enjoy!
